Make-up artists have known it forever. A skin tone is never summed up as "fair" or "deep": it carries an undertone, a light of its own, a personal score. Two skins that look identical may call for opposite shades, because one vibrates in rose, another in gold, a third in copper-red brown.
Our palette is built around three variables: depth (from the lightest to the deepest), undertone (cool, neutral, or warm), saturation (from powdered to most saturated). It is this grammar that allows us, in just fifteen shades, to cover the infinite diversity of skin tones.
The vocabulary of the palette
The very fair. *Powder Rose*, like a breath of brush on porcelain. *Ivory*, its neutral version, stripped of any trace of pink, for milky skins that do without rose.

The deep. *Coffee* and *Chocolate* secure the classic browns, neutral and quieted. *Mahogany*, our second novelty, fills a gap we carried for a long time: the warm copper-red that so many African, biracial, Caribbean skins demand, whose areolas naturally lean toward burgundy. *Espresso* and *Ebony* sign the ultimate depths, dense, elegant, intense.
Caramel and Mahogany: our two revelations
Caramel is the shade Italians, Spaniards, Lebanese women, light Maghrebi women had been silently awaiting. A golden warmth, a mastered orange, exactly halfway between Biscuit and Honey. Versatile enough to flatter three skin tones out of six: light medium with warm undertone, medium, and golden mat. A signature shade that casts a wide net without ever sacrificing accuracy.
Mahogany keeps its promise differently. It is the answer to a quiet realisation: most palettes offer, for deep skins, only neutral or cool browns. Yet many African, biracial, Caribbean skin tones carry in their areolas red, copper, burgundy nuances, deeply alive. Rather than imposing a disembodied brown, Mahogany follows the natural pulse of the skin. A warm brown with precious-wood reflections, paying tribute to undertones too often ignored.
